How do I load music?
Use the disc loading screen to select a music library album or playlist, a folder, or audio files from Files. Grant music library permission if you want to use albums. You can change permission in iOS Settings.
Missing albums or playback problems
Check music library permission and confirm that the track plays in the Music app. By default, the app selects downloaded music. To use undownloaded tracks, enable the corresponding option in the app’s library settings. A network connection and Apple Music entitlement may be required.
Which audio formats are supported?
When loading from Files, you can use common formats that iPhone can play, such as MP3, AAC (M4A), WAV and AIFF. Files with DRM and some other formats may not play.
READ ERROR
Check that the original files have not been moved or deleted, then select the folder or files again. For cloud files, download them in Files before retrying. Some audio formats may not play.
Restore purchases
Sign in to the App Store with the Apple Account used for the purchase, then tap Restore Purchases under Settings → In-App Purchase in the app. Additional magazine slots are one-time purchases. Deleting a saved magazine does not remove its purchased capacity. If restoration fails, check your connection and contact support.
Refunds
Request a refund for an App Store purchase through Apple’s Report a Problem page. Apple determines eligibility.
Why is ALL shuffle unavailable?
ALL shuffle requires distinct albums from the music library. If you load playlists, files or duplicate albums, use shuffle within a disc.
Delete saved data
Deleting a magazine does not delete your original music. Use Delete App in iOS to remove local app data; Offload App keeps it. Manage backups through the operating system or the relevant service. The app has no account registration.
CarPlay and safe use
Load discs on your iPhone while safely parked, then use DISC SELECT, TRACKS and Now Playing on CarPlay. Read the driving safety, Apple Music conditions and liability information. Song information may be visible to passengers on the vehicle display.
Known issue: CarPlay Now Playing screen
After switching between a disc that contains Apple Music subscription songs or songs that are not downloaded and any other disc (such as audio from Files), the CarPlay Now Playing screen may show the following.
- The song title or artwork is missing, or still shows the previous song
- The elapsed time or the play/pause state does not match what is actually playing
- Tapping the on-screen play button stops the song that is playing
In our testing, quitting the app and opening it again while a Files disc was selected restored the display and controls. The issue can return if you reopen the app with an Apple Music disc selected, or switch in the same way again. Use your iPhone only while safely parked.
We confirmed this with an iPhone and a CarPlay test environment. We are still checking which vehicles and iOS versions are affected, and the cause is under investigation. (As of October 11, 2026)
