Developer kouminiku-9900 explains how information is handled by the iOS app 5-Disc Changer Portable and this support website. Contact: kouminiku@gmail.com.
1. Overview
The app has no developer account registration, advertising SDKs, developer-operated analytics SDKs, or advertising tracking. It does not send music files, music library information, playback history, magazine names, or disc labels to developer-operated servers. The developer cannot remotely view this on-device data.
2. Information used on your device and purposes
- With music library permission, album, playlist and song identifiers, titles, artists, ordering, duration and artwork are used for loading discs, display, playback and resuming playback.
- Folders and audio files you select in Files, their names, path references and available artwork are used for display and playback. Access bookmarks are stored on your device so the app can access them again.
- Loaded discs, magazine names, disc labels, disc and track playback positions, playback modes and display preferences are kept on-device to save configurations, switch between them and resume.
- StoreKit product identifiers, regional prices and verified purchase and revocation entitlements are used for purchases, unlocking saved-configuration capacity, restoration and entitlement updates. The developer does not receive card numbers or your Apple Account password.
3. CarPlay and lock screen display
iPhone and CarPlay use playback state on the same iPhone. Song and artist names, disc information, artwork and playback position may appear in iOS Now Playing and on a connected vehicle display. Passengers and other people who can see these screens may see that information. The app does not obtain location, vehicle identification numbers or driving history for this integration, or send them to developer-operated servers.
4. Storage, retention and backups
Settings and saved configurations are kept on your device. Local backup and recovery copies created for saving errors or damaged data may retain previous configurations and references. The app references original audio rather than copying it into its own music library. Depending on your operating system and settings, app data may be included in backups or device migration. The app does not provide its own cross-device sync of magazine contents or audio.
5. Apple and file services
Apple Music playback and authorization, streaming undownloaded songs, and App Store product retrieval, purchases and restoration may communicate with Apple. Apple handles its services under Apple’s Privacy Policy and Apple Music & Privacy. Apple may also process information through its services or operating-system diagnostic and sharing settings. The app has no developer-operated automatic log-upload feature.
Retrieving audio from iCloud Drive or another file provider may communicate with the provider you choose. Connection data, retention and deletion by those services follow their policies and settings. Apple controls Apple Music subscriptions, regional availability and network requirements. Buying additional saved-configuration capacity does not include an Apple Music subscription or the purchase of songs.
6. Support and privacy requests
If you email us, we use your email address, name if provided, message, optional attachments, app and OS versions, device model and reproduction steps to respond, investigate problems, help with purchases and handle privacy requests. Your email service and Google’s receiving email infrastructure process the message. Information may be processed by the developer in Japan and in countries where those providers operate. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
We keep this information while needed for the request and ongoing support, then delete information no longer needed. Information required for legal retention or a dispute is kept only for the necessary period. We do not use it for advertising or model training, sell it, or share it for third-party advertising. Necessary information may be provided to email processors or disclosed as required by law or a lawful request. Do not send passwords, card details, identity documents or music files. Redact personal information and song names in images where appropriate.
7. Website and tracking choices
This website uses GitHub Pages. GitHub may process IP addresses and other connection information for delivery, security and related purposes under the GitHub General Privacy Statement. The developer adds no analytics scripts, advertising or cookies to this website.
The developer does not track activity across websites and does not change app or website behavior in response to Do Not Track signals. We do not sell personal information or share it for behavioral advertising, whether or not a Global Privacy Control signal is present. External linked services handle information under their own policies.
8. Permission, access, correction and deletion
You can change music library permission in iOS Settings and use the Files path without that permission. You can edit magazine names and labels in the app. Deleting a saved configuration does not delete original audio and does not necessarily erase all loaded references, playback positions or recovery copies.
Use Delete App in iOS to remove local app data; Offload App keeps it. Manage operating-system and service backups, trash and similar storage through their settings. Apple manages purchase history and entitlements, which are not erased by deleting the app.
Contact the email below to request access, correction or deletion of support information the developer holds, or to exercise rights under applicable law. We may verify identity as needed and respond in accordance with applicable law. The developer cannot remotely erase data held only on your device. For information independently held by Apple, Google, GitHub or file providers, use their settings or contact channels.
9. Children
The app is a general-audience music player and is not directed to children under 13. The developer does not intend to collect personal information online from children under 13 without meeting applicable legal requirements. Parents who believe such information has been provided should contact us. We will take appropriate steps, including deletion, in accordance with applicable law.
10. Security, changes and contact
We use device and operating-system access controls and restrict access to support information to protect it. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. When practices change, we update this page and its revision date and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by applicable law.

11. Language and original version
The Japanese version is the original version of this document. Other language versions are translations for reference. If there is any discrepancy, the Japanese version prevails to the extent permitted by applicable law.
